If you know me at all, you know that I have a bit of a love affair with Adidas sneakers and it all started with these Adidas Cheetah Swift print pair…love at first sight!
By now it’s evident that I’m drawn to anything animal print, so this pair was right up my alley. Add to that the fact that I don’t venture too much with color in my wardrobe, the understated gray, black and white sealed it’s fate! I was elated that my followers loved it too, so much it quickly sold out every time it came back into stock. So much so that style editors at People even featured the pair in this article!
So you can imagine I was also bummed any time my followers tried and couldn’t get their hands on them so I was determined to find other style worthy sneaker options. As much as I looked around, I kept coming came back to Adidas styles for their trendy details and comfort fits.
Cue the Adidas NMD R1 Snakeprint sneakers. My first pair was the black and blush…couldn’t resist the combo. They nailed it with all the details. The 80’s retro silhouette, snakeskin accent, the pop of pink and pebble textured sole walls all approved in my book. And because they are designed to fit like a sock, they fun a half size big and are so comfortable. I’ve been wearing this pair all season since I got them, and once I saw they made the same style in white with taupy-clay colored accents, I immediately picked them up and they’ll be taking me right into spring and summer!
The NMD’s instantly became my new favorite, but luck would have it that you all loved them too, so selling out became a problem again. In an effort to add a little more color to the rotation, I just added the final pair, the Adidas Katir X to the family.
All of these are solid sneaker options, both for functionality and style. One of these is sure to complement your casual wardrobe and they won’t disappoint!
All these Adidas sneakers ran a half size big. Make sure to go down a half size.
