Lately I can’t keep up with my calendar days. Every day seems to blend in with the one before and the next and I often forget what day it is altogether!
If quarantine life has you feeling the same, you are not alone. Easter totally crept up on me and I honestly didn’t even realize we were already halfway through April until a friend mentioned Mother’s Day will be here before you know it!
Feels like it was just yesterday everyone was complaining about January being the longest year ever, lol. As much as I can’t believe the days are passing so quickly, I could not let the current pandemic hijack Mother’s Day. Especially with so many moms having to home school little ones or now navigating life working from home if they worked outside, or even the expecting moms who are freaking out about bringing a little one under crazy circumstances, I had to make my best efforts to round up some thoughtful gifts to honor some of the unsung heroes during this time.
With that in mind, I opted to curate gift guides with wellness and home life in mind. Whether spending more time in the kitchen trying out new recipes or keeping it cozy, many will be celebrating the day in the comforts of their home. While some will be in the company of their younger children, older moms may have to go the day without physically seeing their loved ones. To lighten the reality of that, figured moms everywhere might appreciate some happy mail or something to help those quarantine days go a little easier.
Maybe a gift of a sound hight’s sleep with cozy pajamas, a weighted mask, or new memory foam pillows will help her relax. Or maybe help her wind down from a long day with some relaxing herbal tea, in her new favorite temperature controlled mug followed by a calming soak bath with rose scented candles. I have to be honest, that whole scenario is the gift I want to give myself…that’s how you know it’ll be good!
