Temperatures in New York have hit heat wave numbers this week and it has me thinking of long beach days and sunbathing by the pool. It’s no surprise my recent fashion hauls have all included pieces with these in mind.
On today’s post I’m sharing my recent fashion finds from Walmart; a nice mix of summer sandals, caftans, flowy pieces, lightweight knits and summer dresses. Styled some looks I pulled together during a recent try on I shared with my IG friends and so many of you asked for more specific details, that I thought would gather them all here in one place.
A favorite amongst my followers was this ruffle mini skirt I styled with a basic tank, cropped denim jacket and these Zoey lace up gladiator style sandals. Fun, flirty and fresh! Both the skirt and sandals and all other clothing pieces are from Walmart’s Scoop line. If you’re not at all familiar, it’s one of their in house brands and I’m never disappointed with the cute and trendy styles they put out.
Another fun find was this open knit hooded cardigan. An easy summer friendly layer with it’s lightweight, open knit and breezy weave. The contrasting stripes add a fun pop of color to your outfit, and the attached hood come sin handy during those cool summer evenings after a long day under the sun.
But of all the pieces I picked up from this haul, my personal favorite were these embellished slide sandals. These give me all the boho and festival season vibes with their intricately detailed beading, iridescent sequins and trendy tribal embroidered straps. I styled them with this tiered ruffle hem summer dress; the easy neutral letting the sandals shine. Its an easy casual midi length dress with fun neon shaded trim for just the right amount of interest. Will easily be a repeat outfit for me during this season!

I’m still so shocked at how you manage to find so many chic and beautiful pieces at Walmart. I must be looking in the wrong Walmart or the wrong section because I never seem to find anything like this. Maybe I just need to shop online from your links!
