The temperatures officially dipped into New York Fall territory this past week and I have retired all things summer because of it. It only took one morning waking up to fifty degree weather to begin storing my summer season only pieces and pull out the jackets, boots, heavier knit cardis and sweaters from my closets.
After taking stock of what I already owned, I did what I do every season and scoured my favorite sites from what’s new and cute in their fall lineup. Today I’m sharing my favorite finds from my recent Walmart haul, this time having gone in person to check out the racks. I’ll be honest, it’s been many months since shopping in store anywhere so the experience was quite surreal.
Still not wanting to spend loads of time in store, I went straight for their seasonal “just in” sections of clothing and did a quick one over of their shoe department. I picked up some fall colored basics like these crew neck balloon sleeve sweaters that I got in the spice and oatmeal colors. I love having solid basics on hand for easy reach options and these soft, textured knit sweaters from the Scoop line are a great addition to my wardrobe.
The fall season wouldn’t be the same for me without plenty of cardigan options, and I scored a couple of cute printed ones this time. This camo cardigan is such a fun silhouette with it’s cropped cut and blouson sleeves, and the print is a must have for me every fall. But even more versatile, is this oversized mixed animal print cardigan. Tiger and leopard lovers need not have to choose with this one!
As far as footwear, my finds were solid, catering to varying shaft height options. These trendy kitten heel leopard booties make for comfortable all-day wear while these block heel slouch boots are just as comfortable without sacrificing the height. The over the knee boot trend is still going strong this season, and this OTK pair is a budget friendly option for those looking to wear the trend.
So many good finds this time around, and the cooler weather has just shown up so I can start wearing these. Has the fall weather hit your area yet?
