The last time I featured these Nine West Phaedra booties, I mentioned how versatile they were because of their style and color. I showed them with some dark winter pieces and today I’m showing you how I styled them with my light neutrals. Light and airy, even during cold winter months…I’m here for it!
Especially here in New York, during the colder months of the year, the masses instinctively lean towards darker colors for their fall and winter wardrobes. I get it, black is my favorite color so I’m not mad about it, but sometimes the light and brights are a refreshing change from the usual black and grays you’ll see everywhere around here.
I got my outfit color palette inspo from the faux shearling detail of the boots. Was going for that snow bunny vibe with this faux shearling cropped jacket. It tied in perfectly with the boot’s trim detail, a match made in bunny slope heaven! The added warm the shearling and fleece lining of these boots provides is even better; just warm enough to keep my toes from feeling like they’re going to fall off, lol.
Wore basic skinnies for this look, and I played off the warm tones of these booties, keeping it neutral with this chunky knit sweater, tote bag and pom pom hat. I added a little color with my pink scarf. I feel the combo of these together is an unexpected winter look, at least in New York where winter days can be dark and gloomy. If you’re from a generally sunnier area, I think this look would be even better!
Although I love the brown suede version of these Phaedra booties, they also come in black leather and a charcoal gray suede, both great looking options to have (might have to pick those up too)!
