My Adidas sneaker obsession continues and today I’m bringing you my latest additions to my growing collection.
I have to start with my favorite find: these tie dye Adidas NMD R1s. The NMD style is already a tried and true favorite that the retailer comes out with. I have shared all the awesome prints and styles in previous posts and am always pleasantly surprised when they incorporate hot trends like animal prints and camo. So when I saw the tie dye ones I jumped on them quick for fear of them selling out.
They’re such a pretty combination of bright coral with a mix of neon and pastels mixed throughout, making it such a fun accent to any spring outfit. Personally, I have been loving the tie dye trend and Adidas nailed it with this pair…just love!
Although the tie dye pair is the star of the show for me, I know the trend is not for everyone. Another Adidas style that is a repeat offender in my wardrobe is the Swift Run sneaker. If you know me at all, you’ll know my cheetah print pair was my first love and the sneaker that started it all for me…(my Adidas sneaker family that is, lol). And so although I love prints and trendy accents, I’m a neutral girl at heart and had to snag this nude Swift pair and these chalk white ones. And if you’re not afraid of a little bit of color, these pale green Swifts are a happy muted shade perfect for Spring. (Both styles are equally as comfortable, but the NMDs tend to run a half size big for reference).
My other favorite neutral is camo and it wouldn’t be right if Adidas didn’t feature the print in one of their styles. The Edge Lux style is newer to me as most of the other Adidas I own are NMDs or Swift styles. On the foot these feel a little more reinforced which I think would make them a suitable option if you were looking for a workout sneaker, but if I’m being honest, my sneakers are an extension of my fashion entourage…can you tell?!
Do sneakers play more of a functional role in your wardrobe or do you look for cute styles to add to your outfits?
