If you’ve followed me for any length of time you understand my love with Adidas sneakers, specifically the NMD R1 style. I blame the pandemic, but this past year my sneaker collection has quickly snowballed into a obsession, but I’m not mad about it!
Streamlined and modern, the Adidas NMD styles combine retro style with trendy accents. It’s a modern twist on an 80’s throwback. The silhouette is clean and streamlined which I love because bulky sneakers tend to look weighty on my feet. Aside from having all the cute color and pattern combinations, they are super comfortable. They tend to run a little big so I always pick up a half size down from my usual size. They offer your feet cushion and energy with each step and their mesh, snug-fit construction offers breathability for comfortable wear. I particular like these features because I like the option of wearing mine without socks when I wear them with cropped skinny jeans or cutoff denim shorts. Double bonus. This time around, an NMD leopard print style strikes again with a muted nude and graphic orange colorway. I’m not a runner, but I think these would make a killer statement hitting the pavement!
If you’re loving the animal print trend but looking for something more neutral, these nude leopard Swift Run sneakers keep it trendy without the loud fanfare. Same style as my favorite black and gray cheetah print pair, (pictured below), these are a nice lighter option to style with your Spring and Summer looks. And in case animal print is not your friend, I also snagged these super wearable neutral NMDs. The soft colorway makes it a super wearable and versatile option for any casual look.
The NMD line comes in all kind of color and print combos like this bonus camo pair, so you’re likely to find something that appeals to you more than either of these may have. Have a try at them…you won’t be disappointed!
