Summer is officially over and with fall comes some of the best fashion and outfit styling. I think at least for me it’s all about the layers and being able to play with multiple pieces to mix and match allows similar outfits to look completely different!
One of the best ways to achieve that is with jackets. Now I’m fully aware that the shacket trend is hot at the moment, but today’s post is dedicated to a classic: the moto jacket. Revered for it’s ability to elevate a basic look and add some edge for an outfit that would otherwise fall flat, the moto jacket has been a fall wardrobe staple for years for good reason.
At least here in New York, the recent crisp chill in the air has me pulling out some favorites from years past, but while scouring Walmart for some new fall finds I came across some fashion worthy moto jackets that I just had to try and share! Genuine leather jackets can be quit the investment piece, like pieces from AllSaints that can run upwards of several hundred dollars. Some midrange ones like those from BlankNYC can go for a little over a hundred, with their vegan leather options going for under a hundred. But now Walmart has joined the game with their own versions of the classic with a faux leather moto jacket for under fifty dollars!
Both jackets featured here are from Walmart’s Scoop line, with the main difference between the two is that the cream moto jacket comes with an adjustable belt. These jackets are an absolute score for the price and easily look pricier than they are. I styled both layered over lace trim camis with some flared denim (which has also made a comeback by the way, lol), and I can’t decide which color I like more!
I am already predicting these pretties will be a hot seller and won’t last long, so scoop one up while you can!
