From pumpkin picking to my daily errands, the Uniqlo outfit I’m featuring today will appeal to those of you looking for an outfit that’s both casual and cool! And by cool I mean that I took a lot of the inspiration for this outfit from the minimalist, fashion-forward, street styles I’ve been seeing on foreign bloggers and the pages of Vogue.
The wide fit of these pants (listed at Uniqlo as the U Wide Fit Curved Pants) are very different from my usual, go-to denim styles. What can I say, I was in the mood to shake things up! But I’m not going to lie, when I first received these pants in the mail, I was worried that I might have a hard time styling them.
Wrong! I’ve actually found these pants to be quite versatile and have worn them on repeat. *applause* You can pretty much rotate in any t-shirt, long sleeve, quarter-length (what have you!) add a pair of fresh sneakers, and your look is complete.
On that note, if you’re looking for an excuse to buy new sneakers, look no further! Save money on pants by wearing these repeatedly, and just sub in different sneakers to change up the look 😉
The reason these pants feel so modern and fashion-forward is because of their shape and silhouette. The wide fit is powerful and a bit androgynous, but the curved cut is both feminine and leg-lengthening. And who doesn’t want their legs to look lengthened?
The fabric is is a thick jersey material and has a surprising amount of stretch, aka comfort is key!
I would highly recommend these as a go-to work pant. Don’t you just imagine me wearing this outfit, in a cool studio with natural light flooding in, with my easel, canvas, and paint tools, crafting Bear’s next portrait? (Just kidding, too bad I’m not an artist, but you can see the look, right?!)
