Target Slide Sandal Roundup

Not long ago I featured a recent Target shoe haul on the blog of their latest Spring line. Because I came home with so many cute finds I had to try their sandal lineup.

Last couple of years I have found myself shopping their seasonal shoe lines because they’ve nailed the styles and trends and bring so many options. Personally, I was looking to find some casual flat slide sandals for a recent trip.

The one that started it all was these Winnie Two-Band Studded Slide Sandals from the A New Day line. I was already sold on the blush toned neutral color but this easy slip on style is  embellished with gold nailhead studs; bringing a touch of glam to any outfit. If the studs aren’t your thing and you need some sparkle in your life instead, the same wide strap style is available in this Tahlia rose gold pair from Mad Love.

Clearly from my haul you can see the two band style trend. I just find it to be easy and comfortable, especially for those slower vacation days. The Torri Two-Band Sandals from Universal Thread are a touch more sophisticated with a wide faux-leather band closer to the ankle and a slimmer one toward the toes. The gold band paired with the braided faux leather accent detail is a standout with a chic finishing touch. I imagine pairing these with skinny jeans and a crisp white tee or a breezy maxi dress, wide brim panama hat and denim jacket.

The other standout faves for me were the Jenny Slide sandals from Universal Thread. I think this style is a popular one because they’re comparable to a pricier style by Sam Edelman and they’re coveted for a reason. Target totally took a cure from the popular style and offered their version in multiple colors and prints. Personally I picked up three of the five they carry (white, tan and snakeprint), and love them all! Their wearable versatility and walkable comfort make them a staple piece in your summer wardrobe. They’re designed with a wide strap across the front with cut-out accents for a touch of airy detail. Love them with flowy maxi skirts and dresses, or a a bralette layered under a slinky tank and denim cutoff shorts.

All of these would make great additions to you summer style this season. May want to pick up a pair soon…they won’t last long!
