It was a Memorial Day weekend for the books! It was my first time hosting at my place in Florida, and I’m so happy how it all turned out. I’m all about easy and fun options I can throw together in a pinch. I knew I wanted to refresh my patio, so today I’m sharing some summer entertaining finds, all from Walmart!

If you have been following along, then you know I recently purchased a new home. It was super important for me to find a place with some ample outdoor space. Only ever had balconies before, so this time around I wanted the ability to create an outdoor oasis to entertain. Looking forward to the new yard being done! Until then I have to work with what I got. With limited square footage at my current place, finding the right pieces was key. Walmart makes finding pieces to create the backyard or patio of your dreams within reach. So many beautiful, swoon-worthy items at budget-friendly prices!

Refreshing the Space

I already had some key pieces like my wicker egg chair and a solid wood bistro set. (Both of which are perfect for small outdoor spaces with limited square footage!) In addition, and in anticipation of hosting more this summer, I picked up this wicker bar cart. It looks so much more expensive than the price I paid. Even better, it has a removable tray perfect for carrying multiple drinks! I added some string lights for a festive touch, and let the sunset backdrop be the star of the show. These small touches have made a big impact in transforming the space. I just love how it all turned out!

Because it was a small gathering of just a few neighbors and their kids, I wanted simple, self-serve crowd-pleasing offerings. And what I came up with was hot dogs and frosted lemonades! I used minimalist white trays for the hot dogs and drinks were lined up on the bar cart. Perfect for a balmy Florida evening, the drinks were a hit for parents and kiddos alike. So simple too! Just blend vanilla bean ice cream with your favorite lemonade to desired thickness and taste and garnish with lemon slices. I added some fun straws for a decorative touch. I also finally got to use my new gold ice cream scoop and Beautiful Slush Crush Frozen Drink Blender. Of course, both are also from Walmart. (Quick tip: freeze your glasses for 15 minutes prior to serving to keep the drinks chilly longer!).

Looking to refresh your space on a budget? Walmart’s got you covered! It has been integral in finding everything I need to transform my outdoor space, all while staying on budget. Additionally, having my Walmart+ membership makes getting everything I need for last minute summer outdoor entertaining easy. Always saving me time and money, it’s easily one of the best decisions I’ve made!
