December this year means wearing I’m bringing all the cozy and cute outfit inspo. Normally I would be pulling out all the glitz and glam for ringing in the holiday season in true House of Sequins fashion, but 2020 had other plans.
Large festive gatherings and decked out parties may not be the norm this holiday but that doesn’t mean we still can’t look cute during more intimate celebrations with our nearest and dearest. Today I’m sharing a couple of looks; one comfy and cozy, the other a little more dressed up but versatile enough to dial it back even more casual if you prefer.
First up is this plush winter holiday worthy cream fair isle Seaside pullover sweater from Barefoot Dreams. This CozyChic pullover ifeels just like the brand’s cult favorite blankets, and as a lover of them already, I didn’t want to take this one off! The print is festive for the season and would make a great gift option as well if you’re still shopping for those last minute finds, but it also comes in seven other colors and prints, including camo and zebra. Simply worn here with basic denim and knee high boots and accessorized with my fave black pom pom beanie.
If you’re looking to get a little more dressed up without breaking the bank, this stretch plaid mini skirt is a fun option. Far from being an investment piece in your wardrobe, at under $20, it’s a perfect option for the person who is looking to switch things up. It’s super stretchy so def forgiving of food bellies and would be a cute way to add some print and color to an outfit. Styled it here with a fitted ribbed turtleneck and over the knee boots for a quick and easy look. It comes available in fourteen other styles, including classic buffalo plaid and houndstooth prints.
Are you planning on dressing up this holiday or keeping it cozy and casual?
