Temperatures are dipping to just about freeing some days here in New York and that means I am pulling out all of my warm coats and winter weather gear. The cold is NOT my friend and even though I love to get all dressed up, I do not want to sacrifice the warm and cozy vibes to achieve it!
I recently spent the last weekend out and about doing a little in-store shopping and both days were filled with plenty of local holiday themed strolls. Despite the current climate so many of us find ourselves in, it was a breath of fresh air to see, feel and hear all of the holiday vibes small business and communities were putting out. It lifted my spirits to see that so many are just making the best out of a cruddy situation!
With that being said, I wore all Walmart fashion finds when out hunting for holiday treats at my local eateries. Budget friendly from head to toe, (including my dad coat, cold weather accessories and chainlink crossbody bag), you wouldn’t know my entire look wasn’t more expensive than it was! Even scored these over the knee boots at a great price; a fraction of styles offered from more expensive brands.
I styled the same sherpa lined red pom pom beanie with this Christmas season worthy red chunky turtleneck from Amazon and layered a camel soft fringe scarf. For a more neutral look, a styled a similar black pom pom beanie with a camel wool blazer coat and chunky knit scarf. And in all of my looks, I am wearing my new favorite Sofia skinny jeans from Walmart, a must-have in any budget friendly denim collection. The stretch and feel of these make them equally comfortable as they are flattering!
All of these looks will be on rotation throughout the winter season for me and any of these options are sure to keep you warm and cozy throughout any last minute shopping you may still have to do!
