Recently traveled to Florida to attend an event so I got the chance to pull out some warmer weather pieces. I picked up a few things in last couple of weeks from Revolve with that in mind and will be sharing some of those looks on today’s post.
When traveling, I like to be comfortable. That means, no makeup, cozy outfit, and layers fot warmth; this girl absolutely hates being cold. Because it is still very much winter here in New York (even though we have been getting milder temps than normal), I wore this SuperDown Faux Fur Parka as part of my travel outfit while still close to home. It’s not overly bulky by any means but it was just weighty enough to layer over a chunky sweater. These Alo moto leggings, my favorite Adidas cheetah Swifts and Yankee cap rounded up my look.
While in Florida, I got to pull out all of my favorite denim shorts. For a casual night out I paired this cutout hoodie with shorts for an easy, no fuss look. Because of the deep neckline, I layered a fun bralette underneath, and loved the added detail peaking through. I love wearing shorts with long sleeve pieces, especially during cooler evenings after taking in so much sun during the day. Anyone else get chiller after sunbathing??
Most of my time while away was spent catching up with friends and lots of R&R so most days were spent by the beach or poolside with the exception of local eats and the festivities I was there for. Celebrations did not call for formal attire, so I had some wiggle room for my event outfit. Decided to go with this chic Charlie blazer. The white popped off my freshly self-tanned skin, lol. Loved the pop of the gold buttons that tied all my accessories together. Kept with denim shorts and a slinky tank for this look but added a pop of leopard with my clutch.
