With all the extra time at home, I’ve been loving redecorating and refreshing my space with new furniture and decor finds, and I have officially gone down the Amazon home rabbit hole!
For the most part I like to keep my home decor light and on the neutral side with no particular formal style in particular. So I have been enjoying shopping all the different style options that honestly didn’t even know existed on their site!
So although I don’t have a firm design style, I have been having fun mixing elements of different styles. I can appreciate rustic elements of farmhouse design, coastal vibes from cottage pieces and clean lines from mid-century modern styles. What I love about styling your home is that although their might be design choices that help build an aesthetic, there really are no rules except putting together those pieces you love. If you stick to similar color palettes (the way I do with neutrals or weathered wood and creamy tones), it’s easy to having mixed styles look cohesive and they play happily together in one space.
On today’s post I’m sharing some of my recent favorite finds on Amazon and have put together some style mood boards. I have shared a lot of living space finds in previous posts so I included some bedroom options to switch it up as well as some multi-purpose furniture pieces that definitely come in handy in smaller spaces…and I always love a piece that can function in more than one typical way like this mudroom bench and storage combo. My apartment doesn’t have the space for something like this, but I love the option of having some seating my the front door with hidden shoe storage beneath and easy hooks to house belongings as soon as you come home.
As quarantine life continues (but may end sometime this month), I will continue to make home my favorite place and enjoying the process while I can!
