Before arriving in Santorini, when I would think of this amazing Greek island, I would think of all white buildings and homes, super clear blue skies, the sun beaming down and the crystal clear water. Well when Brittany and I arrived, it was all of that and more! Because we stayed in the southern part of the island in Megalohori, we would take day trips to other areas on the island.
Our first stop was Fira and Imerovigli, where we walked around, got lunch, ate gelato, and got to see some amazing sites. We shot some amazing photos and had the best time! But my favorite stop was in Oia, which is in the northern point of the island. We scheduled a car service to take us to Oia, because there are very limited taxi’s in Santorini. Our hotel, Vedema, a Luxury Collection Resort, scheduled our car for us. It took about 30 minutes to get to Oia.
When in Oia, I opted for my very comfortable Soludos Slide sandals that were such a great pair of travel shoes for this trip! They are comfortable and easy to just slip on and go. Since we were going to be walking around a lot, I knew this was the perfect pair of sandals to wear. And to contrast the blue and white, which I realized is the best thing when taking photos in Greece, I wore this gorgeous ASOS Bardot long sleeve skater dress. It has these super cute polka dots on it and is in the softest jersey material, which was very breathable and great for walking around.
Finally, to take my look to the next level, I had to jazz it up with my favorite wide cuff from Karine Sultan. This piece is $87 at Nordstrom, and is a great accessory to have, especially right now for the holiday season. If you have been following my blog for a while, you will know that I love a good cuff bracelet. They are one of my favorite jewelry items, and I have grown quite the collection! This entire look was the perfect outfit for walking around, eating lunch, getting our final gelato (which you know is a favorite thing of mine and Brittany’s), and sight seeing!
