When it comes to shopping pieces to refresh my wardrobe, nothing gets me more exited than a new pair of sneakers. Maybe it’s because it brings me all the nostalgic feels because I used to collect certain styles as a teen, or maybe because a trendy sneaker instantly elevates a basic casual ‘fit. Whatever the reason, it’s a new season, and it has me inspired to shop all the neutral and wintry whites to add to my collection.
I have definitely added some new pairs to cart in recent weeks that I shared in previous posts, but I thought I’d share styles I currently have my eye on. I live for basics and neutrals, and although sneakers are definitely where I like to experiment with color, sometimes a monochromatic winter white outfit just takes your look to the next level.
What that looks like for me, is usually a crisp white tee paired with cream colored joggers with a matching puffer jacket layered over. Maybe an oatmeal colored Yankee cap, a complementing belt bag and a fresh pair of kicks, and you have an instant House of Sequins winter uniform! lol
I’ve shared my love for adidas NMD R1 sneakers countless times before, and this snakeskin accent pair has been in constant rotation this season. Neutrals don’t have to be boring and this pair demonstrates just that. But I also know super trendy styles aren’t for everyone, and I always love a good classic. When done right, they never go out of style, and can serve as a versatile transitional option season to season. I love the retro vibe of these Nike Daybreak sneakers. The creamy colorway is on point, and the suede accent makes them winter style appropriate.
So many great neutral options; any of these would make a great addition to your winter wardrobe, but I couldn’t do another sneaker roundup without adding in some trendy styles with fun prints and pops of color. Some of these will NOT last! Let me know if you manage to snag a pair and be sure to tag me on IG…would love to see how you style them!
