If you have been following me for some time, it should come as no surprise that I am always on he hunt for the next new sneaker find, my preferred shoe of choice. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good pair of designer shoes, but if I’m being honest with myself, my heart will continue to return to the casual comfort of a cute sneaker.
Mostly because I live in all things cozy the majority of my days, having all of the sneaker options have always been a no brainer. I have had a long love affair with hunting for the latest, new, cool and trendy sneakers, and now as a full time fashion blogger, justifying my purchases and guilty pleasure comes that much easier, lol.
My newest acquisitions are all New Balance athletic styles. For those who are loyal customers to the brand, (including me) most will tell you they are some of the most comfortable footwear they own. For years, New Balance has been known for their products as being the perfect blend of function and fashion, providing performance technology while still serving up style.
My favorite of the three pairs I scooped up has to be these New Balance 997H sneakers. I am partial to anything with animal print, and these have the cutest neutral cheetah accent; a fun way top play with the print without being too overwhelming. I primarily wear my sneakers for style, but between the cushioned insole, endurance technology outsole, and the heel designed to provide extra support and snug fit, this pair make it a great contender as a running or workout sneaker. I love the vintage 90’s style; so reminiscent of my childhood! Throwing it back even further are the New Balance 327 sneakers. The 327 sheds new light on the ‘70s vibes, reshaping the classic design elements with a contemporary feel.
Lastly are these New Balance X J.Crew 996 in tan suede. This season, J.Crew’s design team teamed up with the brand to create a limited-edition run of never-before-seen color combinations and prints. This classic style had my heart in this neutral colorway, so I knew I had to snag them!
All solid contenders if you’re in the market for a new pair of kicks. Which is your favorite?
