Neutral Dresses For Wedding Guest Attire

Summer weddings are always so romantic and whimsical.  Champagne flowing, love all around you and everyone is dressed to the nines, summer weddings are always a good time.  But what most people don’t experience is the entire process to finding the perfect dress to wear to these types of affairs, especially in the summer.  You never want to purchase a dress that you’re going to sweat to your death in – because trust me, no matter how flawless the dress may be, if you’re too hot in your ensemble, you will be a misery, a “haute” misery, if you will.  So, I am here to hopefully guide you guys to some awesome dresses that are perfect for summer weddings, especially if they’re outdoors!

The dress I am wearing is probably more ideal for a bride to wear to a bridal shower.  However, the style of this maxi dress is stunningly perfect for a summer wedding.  The key to finding a comfortable gown to wear to weddings is to make sure it’s breathable.  This dress has ton’s of slits, including a plunging v-neck line, allowing ample cool breezes to graze through your dress, while maintaining a fabulous look.  If you know you will be attending a wedding with an outdoor ceremony I recommend to opt for lighter colors, not that there is anything wrong with a sexy, classic black gown.

However, save yourself the extra sweat glow that comes with wearing black in the heat and shop one of these light, neutral or blush options to wear.  I do not recommend wearing white unless the dress code specifically says to wear white, but that is a very rare occasion as the bride is usually the only one to sport white that evening.  But, if you have some fun white attire formal events, this dress is perfect for those types of occasions!
