I could not be more excited to share my newest sneaker find. I have an ever growing athletic sneaker collection, most of which are Adidas (more specifically the NMD style) which I’ve shared in previous posts, but these were too good to pass up.
Before my love of the Adidas and the sneaker collecting craze that came with it, I was a loyal New Balance sneaker lover. I just lie to be comfortable all the time and if you wear New Balance, than you understand they are some of the most comfortable shoes on the market. Like hugs for your feet!
In recent years I’ve been swept up by the growing selection of cute styles that trumped New Balance’s more basic look. But not anymore…they cam out with a full on leopard style! These 996 sneakers in a leopard print calf hair had my name all over them. The excitement was real… in case you were wondering, lol.
A little history lesson for you: New Balance started making shoes in the U.S. over 75 years ago, so they have been in the game longer than most are aware of. It’s because of this I’m convinced they have nailed the technology to make that super cozy fit happen, combining fashion and function. This season, they brought back the classic 996 style—a favorite for over 20 years, except with the so on trend in graphic allover leopard print.
I’ve already worn my pair for casual running around town as well as for hikes in the park and they perform just as I expected for long day wear. But what I love most is the trendy print kicks up any basic outfit up a notch all without sacrificing comfort. Comfy all day!
My love for New Balance is def nostalgic, but I really hope this is the beginning of more great styles to come. I would be excited to see them join the ranks and add to my sneaker fam!
