Leopard has always been one of the few prints that I am drawn to. For a basic gal, that’s a whole lot of pop of print! And, I’m not just talking about the standard gold and black leopard print, although I do love that too, i’m talking about wild and fun vibrant colors too. I even love a toned down cool colorway as well. Leopard is one of those prints that just works with any look casual or dressy. When I first spotted (no pun intended) these Adidas Swift Run Sneakers in the leopard print I didn’t care the price, I needed them to add to my collection. These sneakers are a hot item too as it took me a few check backs to even find my size, they are selling out like crazy! But can you blame people for going crazy over them? They’re so cute! So here’s the low down of how I styled these cool kicks – without stepping foot in a gym.
These BP black leggings are the most comfortable leggings. They’re not the see through type of leggings so if you wanted to wear a shorted top like I did with them you do not have anything to worry about! They’re also extremely affordable at only $19! These leggings are one-of-a-kind are keep selling out stock, that’s how you know these $19 leggings are awesome. I tend to wear these leggings with my leopard sneakers to give the illusion that I’m going to workout but really I’m going shopping at Nordstrom. However, they do make for a great casual and comfortable weekend outfit. They’re great to run errands in after work or to just lounge around the house in! Plus, they look too cute with my leopard sneakers.
Next, I added this Free People Take The plunge tank top in gray, this tank is available in six different colors, so naturally I had to buy three. I have this tank in white, black and the gray. I wanted to to bring in the gray to match with the gray on my leopard sneakers just to bring the whole outfit together. I added a little cute knot to the front of the tank because it does fit as an oversized tank so I wanted to get rid of the extra material. Despite the oversized look/fit of this tank I did order the size Small and feel it runs true to size so I do not recommend sizing down – it’s meant to have a flowy, boxy fit! I was feeling super sporty in this look so I decided to throw on my favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees Metallic Embroidery, baseball hat to my look. This brought my whole look together – the shopping is my cardio look that is.
Lastly, since it is still on the cooler side in New York, despite it being May, I still needed a little something to throw on over my tank to keep me warm. If you’re like me then a denim jacket is a spring time staple. Not only does it look super cute with pretty much any look or outfit, dressy or casual, but it’s great to just throw on even over your shoulders when a slight chill is in the air. Since the denim jacket I am wearing is no longer available, I have linked a few of my favorites from this season. The beauty of a denim jacket is that they come in all different styles and washes and you can find the price point that best fits your budget. Pro tip: When you shop at Nordstrom they offer the widest variety of denim jackets at all different price points in literally every wash/style/print imaginable. Some are higher price points based on the designer brand and some are very affordable but look identical to the designer styles at a budget friendly price point.
