It’s the most wonderful time of the year…to pull out your beauty arsenal for all the work they will be putting in when getting ready for all the holiday events, parties and social gatherings filling up your calendars!
When I think holidays, I instinctively think everything shimmer, glitter and sparkle! Even if I’m keeping my outfit casual like I am today with this chunky knit sweater and camo joggers, I like to throw on a little something extra to keep me in the holiday spirit.
Today I’m playing with these new products from the Laura Geller Gilded Honey Best Sellers Makeup set I picked up from Walmart. I knew right away I was going to love this set because their Gilded Honey highlighter is a cult favorite, and for good reason. Once I tried it on, I understood what all the hype was about. It’s a baked formula so it applies so creamy and just melts into the skin giving a lit from within glow. I found that you can keep it subtle or build up the product for maximum glowy impact…I love it!
Included in the set was an Illuminating Body Mist. Infused with nourishing oils, it’s silky smooth upon application with a subtle shimmer that doesn’t stay tacky to the touch. It’s also lightly scented; smells like vanilla cake batter to me actually, and this girl loves her cake! I will totally be using this more as an all over body shimmer with my holiday dresses, where I can put on my legs, shoulders and decollete. It leaves the skin looking so supple and healthy!
I found the lip gloss to be super pretty as well. Perfect to wear over bare lips for a subtle sheen or as a golden shimmer lip topper over a bolder color. These three products together will make a great addition to my holiday makeup arsenal, and as a set, it’s a great value…Walmart for the win!
