Come this time next month, I will have well already attended the first of several holiday parties. In preparation for all the festivities. On today’s post I’m rounding up some of my favorite sparkly and festive picks from Express.
For the last month I have had fun decorating my place with all things Christmas and it’s now time to turn on the glitter and glitz towards my party wardrobe for the season. I love Express for this time of year because they are consistently on point with the festive options…especially all things sequins!
For a full on night out look, my favorite has to be the first look with this geometric sequin mini dress. With a pair of strappy sandals or over the knee boots, it’s a full look all on it’s own. Express has a similar option with long sleeves, but because The one I’m wearing has capped sleeves, I layered a moto jacket over it, giving the whole look an edgier vibe.
It was hard to narrow down my cart during checkout; so many good sequin mini skirt options! These next few looks can be either be fully dressed up or toned down with more casual pieces like a chunky knit sweater I wore with this houndstooth mini…my favorite of all of them. Can wear something like that on it’s own or something a little more flirty like I did with this plunging v-neck velvet bodysuit layered with this faux fur cardigan over top.
If skirts are not your thing, these high waisted sequin leggings are definitely a winner. Can class it up with a pretty blouse of your choice, and because these leggings are black, can go with any color top. Also super comfortable, they will make a great option to dance the night away!
I know I’m biased, leaning towards all things sequins, so most of these are totally up my alley but if they sparkly vibe is a bit too much, I also really loved this leopard skirt. Leopard being my other favorite neutral, can wear it with other light or neutral pieces but in typical fashion, I decided on all black everything.

Ooooh I am really loving that first skirt – the pink is such a great color in sequins. And your bias is justified – nothing better than a bit of sparkle during the holidays.
