If you’ve followed for any length of time, you’ll know I have a love for Express jeans. They are my regular and most consistent go-to for their comfort, trendy styles and budget friendly options.
So when I saw these paint splattered pair, I knew they had to make a home in my closet. High waisted skinnies are a no brainer in general for me but the combo of frayed hems and the splattered paint throughout gives them a fun carefree feel; the detail just makes them less boring, you know?!
I’ll never veer far from my trusted neutrals, so anytime I see a classic basic with a fun twist or trendy detail, I’m sure to pick it up. That was the case with this cutout batwing sweater. I’m here for all the oversized, slouchy fit and chunky knit tops and I hope this is one trend that does not go anywhere anytime soon! The slightly cropped, boxy cut, and cutout back detail give this sweater a cool and contemporary vibe. Instant fan.
I also love picking accessories from Express because so many of the style options are right up my alley. I usually have a hard time NOT picking up all of their cute bags. Such a good selection every season! But seriously, this blush pink chain link quilted crossbody had my name written all over it! The girly pop of pink was just what this outfit needed. And to play off the blush toned bag, I went with these taupey shearling trimmed booties. Love the combo of the feminine heel with the rugged lace up silhouette; makes them that much more versatile between outfits too.
To finish the look I went with a wide brimmed hat and gold accessories to tie it all together. It’s still winter here but the light and rosy tones of this outfit have me yearning for Spring…anyone else ready for winter to be over??
