Sweet dreams are made of this. Finally, there’s a festival dedicated entirely to desserts! It’s basically our childhood dreams coming to life; where you get to eat your desserts first and no one can tell you otherwise. What is New York City without all these instagrammable desserts? And why just settle for one dessert when they have over 20 vendors featured over the four days. Just don’t ask them about the nutritional information. I’m guessing it’s a lot of calories and you should mark this day as your cheat day.

Dessert Goals has lowered the price of entry (desserts are pay as you go) from $20 to $12 for early birds and $17 for general admission. Your ticket to the event will include access to all of these amenities for an hour and a half, as well as coffee, water, a lounge area, free candy, and some other sweet surprises. This year, the event is taking place in a large venue in Long Island City called Sound River Studios. Dessert Goals teamed up with Planoly to create a picturesque Instagram Garden to be the backdrop for all your dessert photos as well as the panoramic views of Manhattan skyline if you’re looking for some options. Oh, and lets not forget that this years event comes with a 70’s disco theme. So break out those bell bottom jeans and floral blouses or if you are like me, you probably should go in leggings or sweatpants. I recommend something with a little give so you can enjoy those sweets freely.

Here is the full vendor list below.

Supermoon Bakehouse
Lady M
Tipsy Scoop
John & Kira’s Chocolates
Macaron Parlour
Petee’s Pie Co.
Bar Pa Tea
Salty Road
Sugar Monster Sweets
Mojo Mousse by Johan
Rebecca’s Cake Pops
Tiny Kitchen Treats
Mochidoki
POP Cake Shop
Bonsai Kakigori
New Territories NYC
Brooklyn Floss
Becky’s Bites
Danny Macaroons
Monsoon Sweets

What’s better then being under the same roof as so many other dessert enthusiasts who are equally as excited about trying all these instagrammable foods. For the day, you should live like Charlie who won the golden ticket and enjoy all the sweets you can and then maybe make a dentist appointment for the day after.
