It’s hard to imagine getting all dressed up with nowhere to go these days but I can’t help but be hopeful that when summer rolls around I’ll get to pull out all the pretty things and outfit pieces I’ve been hoarding.
If you’re like me and many others during this pandemic crisis who have had their travel plans canceled or special events and celebrations postponed indefinitely, I feel you. Up until shelter in place orders were mandated, this girl was shopping summer dresses, sandals and all things with beach vacation written all over them with every intention of having a fresh wardrobe to pack for upcoming travel plans.
The good news is this too shall pass and the this will not last forever, so I have been happily ordering away, some of which include finding the perfect white summer dress. White dresses are a summer staple for me and I have definitely found some good ones in the past that i still pull out with every season like this Free People Adella slip dress. I own it in a couple different colors because i just love the breezy boho vibe of it. If you love the look of that one but not the price, I recently picked up this similar version lace skater dress from Amazon for less than half the price! It’s just as cute and gives all the same vibes for a steal!
I’ve linked plenty of summery casual options but I also know wedding season is upon us, and regardless of how plans have changed or been adapted, some brides-to-be are still looking to wear their white dress! Because of that, I’ve also linked a bunch of more formal options like this halter trumpet gown or this romantic sheer floral number. Either of these might cater to such an occasion. When I have a tan, mid-summer, that’s when I love to pull out a white dress from the back of my closet and wear it on a date with my husband. They’re just so special! And they remind me of the season prior to my wedding when I wore white dresses a lot!
