Summer is just around the corner, but can someone tell me where Spring in New York was? It seems like Spring barely touched down this year in New York. To say its been on the colder side is an understatement. Spring in my neck of the woods is usually such an enjoyable time of year. However, I am in a new neighborhood, and the lack of nice weather has really put a damper on our usual Spring time weather and has hindered me from taking my usual, pretty and fun Spring pictures. So, today on the blog I am sharing a look that quite literally forced me into my local laundromat to run for cover from the run. But, my amazing photographer and I made the best out of the washout and had some fun with this shoot.
This trend that I am wearing is no stranger to my blog, it happens to be one of my favorite and go-to looks, no matter the season. Graphic t-shirts have always been a staple in my wardrobe, even before I started blogging. My favorite type of graphic tee has always been some kind of band t-shirts with a signature logo on front. I guess you could say I own more than one of The Rolling Stone’s t-shirts branded with their bright red tongue silk screened on front. Well, this one is a bit different – this tee is a retro The Rolling Stone’s around the world top that I ordered from Free People. Plus, it’s under $50, not the cheapest, but definitely justifiable by my standards.
I recently purchased this ivory, super lightweight Beyond the Beach Open Front Cardigan by Billabong that I have been living in. It has two nice size front pockets and has been keeping me warm during this cold, dreary, lame excuse of a Spring we have been having. I love that it’s a breathable fabric and the knitted texture looks so chic with The Rolling Stone’s tee and ripped jeans. Personally, that’s how I like to style my graphic t-shirts; with a comfortable, chic cardigan and some cool ripped up skinny jeans. I usually gravitate toward these STS ripped skinny jeans. They have such a great fit but and come in two washes, but the lighter wash is the only wash available. However, they are an awesome price for only $59, which if you ask me is a pretty good deal for some sweet ripped skinny jeans!
FIT TIPS:
–Billabong Cardigan is TTS. I’m wearing a size S.
