As I write this, today is the first official day of Fall and although I have been shopping season worthy decor since August, some of the cooler days we’ve been experiencing this month in New York are giving me all the cozy vibes.
Darker days and cooler nights are what inspired this curated collection of moody themed Fall decor. With a nod to Spooky season, but still keeping it neutral, I rounded up some darker pieces, many that feature antique or rustic finishes like hammered details, distressed accents and antique charm. Some of these give me all the haunted house feels, perfect for some chic Halloween decor that is versatile enough to keep out throughout the fall and winter months. I love how the antique brass and gold plays with the rod iron and and dark pottery, and dried wheat or gold toned eucalyptus wreaths warm up a space with their natural elements.
If dark and moody is not your style, there’s plenty of creamy and lighter neutral pieces that play just as nice with all the gold and brass accents. And for a seasonal whimsical touch, some glitter pumpkins sprinkled throughout keep it fun.
