Earlier this month I made a massive online order at Walmart and shared the first half of all the pieces I picked up in a previous post. I only ust recently shared the try on for all the items on my Instagram page so on today’s post I’m sharing all the styled looks I put together.
I must admit the initial order was probably the largest single Walmart purchase I’ve made in a long time. There was no rhyme or reason to the items picked out, I was just adding things to my cart initially. Anything that looked cute and the price was right made the cut, so there is a mix of tops, cozy lounge wear, beach cover ups, dresses, blazers and jackets to name a few; all with the goal of sharing the latest budget friendly summer pieces I could find.
It had been a while since I shopped dresses, mainly because self quarantine life had me sheltering at home. I shared some more casual summer dresses in my last Walmart post, but this time around I picked up something a little more elevated. With my area well into Phase three of reopening, I figured I might get the chance to wear some of these pieces out!
The dress itself is an elegant faux wrap maxi dress from the Sofia Vergara in-house line. It has prettiest tossed floral print and the lightweight knit adds a breezy free-flowing silhouette perfect for summer day to evening wear. Generally I’m not the biggest fan of dresses, preferring to be comfortable and not feeling restricted, but this piece is by far my favorite of the lot. Something about the sunny yellow and fluttery accents make make it feel like I’m dressing for a tropical vacation night out. I know it will be a while before that’s actually a reality but in the meantime, staycation it is, (and I can dress up for it if I want to!) lol.

Such cool finds as always. I strongly believe that it is who is wearing more than where you bought something from – you make everything look chic.
