I can’t believe we’re already halfway into Spring and quickly approaching sunnier, warmer months. With that said, I am channeling sunshine and sandy beaches of summer with today’s home decor finds.
Lots of neutral pieces and gold accents are a running theme with my favorite home decor finds, and although the trend isn’t new for me, I am always discovering new and share worthy pieces that I get excited about. With the exception of my recent mini vacation to Disney, I have not been able to frequent my local beaches even though there are plenty of options near me, (a definite perk living on Long Island). What does this have to do with home decor you might be wondering? Well since I’ve taken a greater interest in all things home since global pandemics became a thing, and what I have learned is that many home decorators take their cues from nature. Themes, colors and textures can all be inspired by natural surroundings.
Neutral decor does not have to be a sea of beige and can be far from boring. My recent daydreaming of beachy afternoons inspired the color palette of all of today’s home finds demonstrate just that. Without necessarily having a coastal or nautical theme, I chose furniture with sandy neutral fabrics, distressed or driftwood toned pieces and some sunshine inspired golden elements for a little sparkle. And if you can believe it, all of today’s finds hail from Walmart, making so many of these pieces budget friendly. They are forever upping their home decor game!
