To start, it’s worth mentioning that “sustainable fashion takes into account the full life cycle of a product—from the design, sourcing and production processes and looks at everyone and everything being affected by it, from the environment to the workers and communities where it’s produced to the consumers who purchase it. Free Assembly is committed to sustainability with responsible sourcing and considered design.” So everything from their organic cotton blend denim using techniques that reduce water usage to utilizing Fair Trade certified factories for production that offer safe working conditions for their employees, Free Assembly is a line I can feel good about.
My favorite piece I picked up has to be this black strappy swing dress, a perfect summer staple for casual evenings. A solid basic that you can easily dress up or down with the right accessories to match the occasion. I dressed it up a little with gold jewels, a structured handbag and these espadrille wedges.
A close second are these high rise skinny jeans. I can tell they are quality made, as they feel like just as good as some of my other designer denim. They feature a flattering fit that hugs the silhouette in all the right places while still offering freedom of movement without feeling restricted. I also love the dark wash on this pair for sleek looks to pair with basics like this solid raglan t shirt.
