Summer is not officially here yet, but New York has been enjoying some seasonably warmer temps. I have taken advantage and ventured out to enjoy the sunshine, even if it’s only to shop furniture for my move this week; and today’s post I’m wrapping up so many of the cute and fun finds I’ve picked up and worn recently. A healthy mix of Amazon and Walmart finds sprinkled with some other favorite retailers like Abercrombie and Forever 21.
As I said, I have been all about taking advantage of getting some wear out of my newest pieces when I’ve had to go out and about for all the routine things! The outfit above is literally what I wore to peruse furniture and decor shops, for pieces intended to furnish my new apartment, lol. It’s such a pretty striped crochet trim maxi dress from F21. It features a gauzy crinkle woven fabric with an allover graphic multicolor striped pattern in summery hues. I love the square neckline and shoulder straps with crochet cutout design and the flowy silhouette made me feel extra pretty on that breezy day.
Another F21 dress I styled here are this pink ruffle trim dress. Also a gauzey woven fabric with sheer lace trim, flirty cap sleeves, and a flowy silhouette. I love the flattering plunging V-neckline and square-cut back…it’s all about the details!
I’m here for all the pretty outfits, but I ALWAYS need some casual staples to rotate in. I picked up two sets of this cropped sweatshirt and jogger set from Nasty Gal, shown here in white and gray. Also necessary for me are a good denim jacket and a healthy mix of sneakers, because as you know, I need all the options! I snagged these cute leopard Nikes and couldn’t resist splurging on these Adidas Yeezy Boost sneakers in a versatile “Earth” neutral.
