It’s currently moving day here at The House of Sequins headquarters and I’m taking a break from unpacking to share my latest budget friendly summer dress and wedding guest look finds from Amazon, Target and Forever 21.

It’s hard to imagine getting all dressed up with nowhere to go when I am surrounded by piles of boxes and bags all around me. But I assure you, having purged so many of my belongings prior to my move, I’ll have this place fully functional by the weekend. Additionally, thanks to a full year of pandemic life, I know many of you all canceled special events and celebrations and weddings may have been postponed. I feel you. This time last year, right on the heels of lockdown orders being lifted, this girl was shopping for all the summer dresses, sandals and all things with beach vacation written all over them with every intention of having a fresh wardrobe to pack for upcoming travel plans. Needless to say I didn’t end up going anywhere and last season’s purchases remained unworn.
