The summer season is coming to a close but it’s officially September, so that means it’s time to bring out all the Fall decor!
I like to do some light seasonal decorating throughout the year, but since moving into my apartment earlier this summer, this time around, (unlike in year’s passed) I have the joy of sprucing up some outdoor space. Although small in square footage, there’s plenty to work with when styling a small space and I am excited to share my patio reveal.
If you’re interested in the larger furniture pieces, you can reference my original patio reveal post here, but today I will be focusing on how I added all the Fall feels to the space with budget friendly finds from Amazon, Walmart, Target and even T.J. Maxx and Michael’s. You’ll notice (and it should come as no surprise, lol) I kept the color palette neutral, purposely steering away from the season’s warmer, saturated tones. I did however inject some warmer neutrals to break up the tone on tone a bit, but overall I love the calming aesthetic of the creamy whites with the beige and tan tones.
The key with successfully pulling off a monochromatic look is to play with varying textures to add depth and dimension to your space. So the first thing I did, was swap out by bistro table with this rattan side table, and layered a small assortment of pumpkin embroidered throw pillows. Continuing with that idea, I added different pampass grass stems in vase on the table and some more in a pitcher on some stacked wood crates in the corner.
I already had these frosted string lights in the space, but for some added ambiance I added these flameless candle lanterns, some fall scented candles, and a few tealights in glass vases that line my banister.
Lastly, no Fall decor is complete without some pumpkins! I snagged all of these from T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s in store, most of which I was able to find online and linked below. Not pictured are the ones I ordered, that have yet to arrive from Target, which have a great selection this year of all kinds of colors and styles and you can check them out here!
If you haven’t yet jumped on the Fall train, hope this post offers some inspo to get you excited for the season. 🍂
