I am no home interiors expert, shopping for most of my home decor from Walmart, Amazon and Target. Because of that, I love when my favorite major retailers launch collabs with designers to offer high end looks for less….I love a good deal!
Target especially, has been upping their home decor game. With lines from Hearth and Hand with Magnolia and Theshold designed with Studio McGee to name a few, I have been super impressed with the selection of goodies offered. This time around, their latest home decor collab is with Justina Blakeney — Jungalow founder (and also a Target Home Style Expert), bringing Jungalow’s eclectic and cozy vibe to their Opalhouse brand.
Opalhouse designed with Jungalow features nearly 300 pieces, promising to “inspire lived-in spaces that feel cozy, wild and free.” The line includes bedding, bath, decor, furniture and even wallpaper — at an incredible value with prices start at $10, and most items are under $30. The collection is full of color and good vibes, and is the perfect match with the in-house Opalhouse brand which is already known for more eclectic, free-spirited, boho vibes.
Filled with rich, saturated hues and warm wood tones, this line is ideal for those not afraid of color. Inspirations from nature can be seen throughout the collection: earthy brights, botanical motifs and natural materials like rattan, raffia and even coconut shells. It also gives me that vintage, well-traveled vibe, drawing inspirations from worlds away. Personally I’m intimidated to decorate with color, worrying that I don’t have that “designer eye” to make things flow together nicely, but all the furnishings and accents are created in such a way that even a novice would feel comfortable styling pieces together.
I rounded up some of my favorite pieces from the Jungalow collection as well as some new modern glam sophisticated chic finds from Walmart and some cottagecore inspired old world charm pieces from Amazon for some added inspiration. What do you have your eye on?
