About 5 or so years ago, a friend of mine was raving about her love for Express denim–saying that she loved their fit, stretch, and most importantly, their price point!
I took her word for it (because finding good denim is a serious business!) and I’ve been a believer ever since! For any of you who really appreciate good denim vs bad–you know what it means to spend less than $100 on a pair of jeans you love. Express jeans typically sell for $80 and I’m telling you–they look and feel great!
And if my own opinion isn’t enough for myself–people always compliment me or ask where my jeans are from when I’m wearing Express denim!
The distressed, skinny-cut you see here is a pair I’ve been going to over and over. The mid-rise fit in combination with the fabric’s stretch hug nice to my skin but don’t make me feel like I might pop if I bend over or reach for that extra dip of guac 😂
They’re also very versatile as you can dress them up with your favorite pair of heels–or go casual with sneakers, loafers, or a pair of booties like the Dolce Vita ones I’m wearing with this outfit (also sold through Express)!
Since these booties are a fun leopard print, I kept the rest of my look neutral. (Neutral does not = boring, people!) I love neutral colors, like the gray in this sweater. Plus I’m a sucker for an exposed back! A cozy sweater with a cut out back to me is casual and chic at the same time.
Now to complete the look? A hobo bag + statement accessory! For this look in particular I went with a large cuff bracelet (if you keep up with me you’ve probably seen this in many a posts!) and this soft-to-the-touch hobo, which also has a longer strap so you can wear it as a cross-body!
