I have been taking full advantage of one of this season’s hottest trends…all things faux fur!
I couldn’t be happier that the faux fur trend is still going strong, with more and more wardrobe options hitting the runways and eventually to stores. I can’t get upset when fashion meets cozy comfort; it should seriously be like that all the time!
And if that wasn’t good enough to hop on the faux fur trend, it’s even better when you score an awesome piece at a great price. More and more retailers are heading consumer demands and cranking out more options at different price points. So when I saw this faux fur cardigan from Amazon I had to jump on it.
It totally elevates an otherwise basic look. I’ve already worn it out a couple of times, and enjoy the versatility of dressing it up or down. Here I’m wearing it with a simple outfit of a black henley bodysuit and skinny jeans. Instant fancy factor!
This day I made a quick day trip out east for Long Island wine country before the November chill hit. For looking so lush, this cardigan is super light and was perfect my casual wine tasting with friends. For a pop of interest, I threw on my leopard print booties (my other season’s trend favorite), and wore with my slouchy leather hobo bag. The stacked heels on these booties make them extra comfortable to walk in, even along wine vineyard trails!
I had no intention of snapping pictures this day but I was so happy with how my outfit turned out that I snapped a few during our early dinner on the way home. Thoroughly enjoyed a hearty meal, followed by indulgent dessert to cap the day of good times among good company. Cheers to that!
