Express One Eleven Sherpa Zip Sweatshirt

The teddy coat trend ain’t goin’ nowhere, folks. If you want to embrace it, I say go for it! There’s a reason it’s so popular (aside from seeing it on all the it-girls) it’s universally flattering, cozy, and oozes “casual cool.” Express’ version is called the “One Eleven Sherpa Zip” and runs pretty true-to-size! If we’re being nit-picky, I’d say the fit runs a tad larger, but also, that’s how I think the fit should look. *shoulder shrug*

From a styling standpoint, the teddy coat is extremely versatile. For this outfit I paired it with all Express items. First up, this ribbed, black bodysuit has a thong-fit, aka no “panty” lines, and front-button detailing. (Add this to the versatile-item list!) I find that this bodysuit has a nice slimming effect and, it’s comfortable, too. I might just have to get it in red and white also!

Going with a black and brown color palette, I opted for these gray, high-waisted, gray denim leggings! That’s right–leggings! And they’re flattering! The material has a stretch and fit that’s meant to lift in all the right places. Hallelujah!

How cute are these heeled booties? I love a classic nude color but what I love even more is a comfortable heel. With their thick heel and padded footbed, you can wear these shoes to the office and into drinks afterward! The peep toe and open buckle back make this a great fall transition shoe.
