I’m all for a full glam look when the occasion calls for it, but more often than not, I live for casual looks elevated with accents and accessories for a little something more special. I know I am not the only one who likes to indulge when I eat out, so having a comfortable (and stretchy!) pair of jeans are a must! Express jeans have been a repeat go-to for several years for good reason. I have often raved about their denim, for their flattering and trendy styles as well as their movable stretch that make them an absolute dream to wear.
The ones I’m wearing here are super high waisted “supersoft” skinny jeans and they live up to their name. Originally The Legging, it’s now the Skinny; same perfect fit designed with their stretch-infused fabric that promises allover comfort. Seriously so comfortable, any food babies made are need not result in popping open this pair, lol!
A night out in denim needs a cute top, and this ruffle off the shoulder bodysuit was just that. This romantic deep molten red had date night written all over it. And to be fully transparent, I am a fan of bodysuits, but NOT when I intend to eat my weight in all the yummy things, lol. Because of that, I love that it isn’t form fitting, instead offering a forgiving billowy midsection that sooner looks like a tucked in top than the bodysuit that it is.
With these solid pieces, I wanted to elevate he look with some texture and sparkle. These double banded heeled sandals in this warm burnt sienna color complements the look and the ruching detail on them mirrors the ruffles on the top. For some sparkle, I wore some of my favorite gold accessories to go with my newest pieces from Express: these yarn wrapped circle drop earrings and pave paperclip chain necklace.
