Disney’s Animal Kingdom Snacks You Need to Try

Blogger Sarah Lindner of The House of Sequins sharing Disney's Animal Kingdom travel guide.

While I don’t visit Animal Kingdom as frequently as I do with the other theme parks, they certainly have some of the best snacks compared to the other parks. Here are my top five snacks in Animal Kingdom you need to try on your next Disney vacation.

Raya and the Last Dragon Mighty Mist Soft-Serve

1. Raya and The Last Dragon Mighty Mist Soft-Serve Ice Cream $5.49

I’m a firm believer that every Disney visit isn’t complete without trying some type of sweet snack. This soft-serve ice cream is the perfect way snack to try and it can be found near Expedition Everest. This treat is a blend of strawberry and vanilla soft-serve ice cream (blue tinted of course) served with a white chocolate dipped waffle cone rolled in sparkling sugar.

2. Mr. Kamal’s Fries $5.99

If you find yourself craving some good fries, I recommend stopping by Mr. Kamal’s stand located between Africa and Asia. These Disney fries are seriously addicting and are served with two delicious dipping sauces, Curried Honey Mustard and Korean Chili Ketchup ( my personal favorite). These fries are also perfectly seasoned and make for a great snack while you’re waiting in line for your favorite ride.

3. Mr. Kamal’s Chicken Dumplings $6.49

As someone who likes to try multiple Disney snacks throughout the day, I found these Chicken Dumplings to be perfectly satisfying for a heavier snack. The Chicken Dumplings are served with a Ponzu sauce but are great to eat without.

4. Night Blossom Drink $6.29

As you immerse yourself in the colorful world of Pandora, I highly recommend visiting Pongu Pongu for this refreshing beverage. This frosty drink is made of layers of Apple and Desert Pear Limeade topped with Boba Balls. While you can order this drink with alcohol(known as the Rum Blossom for $14.50) it also tastes great as is. I love riding Flight of Passage and picking this drink up after!

5. Mo’ara Margarita $14.50

If you find yourself wanting an alcoholic beverage than try ordering the Mo’ara Margarita at Pongu Pongu. This margarita is made with Sauza Conmemorativo Anejo Tequila, Bols Blue Curacao, Lime Juice, and topped with Boba Balls. This was the perfect frozen treat and something I order almost every time I visit.
