Another day, another outfit! Hello fellow fashion lovers, today I’m featuring a look that is great for transitioning into fall and some of my favorite jewelry pieces.
Okay, let’s start by talking about this cami because 1- it’s on sale for 40% off (find it here: Socialite Lace Trim Cami) and 2- when I style my outfits, a lot of them are centered around the all-hailed camisole. This particular one also comes in a floral print, but as I am a leopard-print hoarder, I obviously had to have this one! I like that the leopard print here is accented blue instead of the usual golden browns.
Camis are simple and comfortable and easy to build outfits around. Once you have your cami of choice, all you need for your signature House of Sequins look 😉 is some type of denim (I’m wearing these Levi’s from Nordstrom and they’re also on sale! Yay!), and the piece de resistance: a cozy cardigan!
This Long Linen Cardigan from Halogen will be one you reach for over and over again. It completes so many of my looks and hey, everyone needs a black cardigan. I like mixing items together that have varying lengths–wearing a longer cardigan with cut-off shorts or a skirt creates a sense of balance that I opt for quite a bit.
But you’re not ready to step out the door yet! Without exaggeration, for me, none of my looks are complete without the right accessories. The right jewelry is often overlooked but it can totally transform your outfit–make it feel more special, personalized, and put together. I tend to opt for the same combinations of clothing (as mentioned: cami + denim + cardigan) accessories are what give my outfits that je ne sais quoi!
Another example of when layering different lengths totally works is with necklaces. The key here is to look for light necklaces that are more on the dainty side because those are the ones that will pair well together and not look too cluttered. I usually look for some type of choker and then two more short to mid-length necklaces. The necklaces I’m wearing here fom Anie Haie get combined with my other necklaces, too–but to shop these specifically, you can find them all on Anie Haie.
Why are coins so cute? (Sorry, hypothetical question.) But really, I can’t seem to stop using this coin necklace or this matching coin bracelet! Typically, I’m careful about wearing both necklaces and earrings–but these Ania Haie hoop earrings added just the right touch to this ensemble, without being too much or distracting. The deep shade of gold they come in and the added mother of pearl + cubic zirconia accents make them eye-catching and flattering to the face. Again, a piece that you will go to over and over.
I’m a firm believer in the more rings the better, but for this Tiffany’s ring, I usually let it stand alone. I love Tiffany’s (said no girl ever, right?) and actually had my eye on this ring for a long time.
Well I think that about cover it for this easy, go-to look! While sneakers and sandals go well with this type of combo, my favorite way to style it is to slip on a pair of wedges for a little extra leg length. Wedges or espadrilles feel dressy while still exuding a laid-back vibe because they’re comfortable and practical. The ones I wore for this outfit are from Dolce Vita and come in multiple shades–if you buy them all, your secret is safe with me 😉 Dolce Vita Espadrilles
