There are quite a few ways that you can make a typical denim shorts and tank top look different. I try to style these two pieces differently all the time, because that is honestly what I wear most. I love my basics, like this tank top from Free People called the Dani Swing tank that is only $20. To make it look a bit different, I have been knotting some of my shirts either in front or to the side to give them more of a flare. This tank top is a great basic and it comes in five different colors.
One store that I find myself shopping at a lot now is Abercrombie & Fitch. I used to shop there so much as a teenager, and now I don’t know why I ever stopped. They have really stepped up their game with clothing and I find so many pieces that I wear regularly from them. One of them being these distressed denim shorts. Abercrombie & Fitch has such a great selection of denim, so there is definitely a pair for everyone, whether you want high or low rise, distressed or not, detailed with pearls or not, there is literally a pair for anyone with any type of style.
Another item that I purchased from there is this Girlfriend Shirt Jacket that is currently on sale for only $35! It comes in four different colors, but I picked the Olive Green Camo, because I feel like it goes with just about everything I wear.
To bring the look together, I wore my Free People Black Rock Western Belt that comes in multiple colors and is only $38! It is a great belt to have, because it adds some interest to an otherwise uninteresting outfit. And finally, My Tory Burch Miller Flip Flops, well they are a classic. They are so easy to just slip on and go. They are comfy, they have about 10 plus different colors, and they go with jeans, skirts, shorts, pretty much everything!
