Summer is officially over, but transitional weather can be unpredictable, and I know in some parts of the country it will be around for the next few weeks. Many of you have asked for some end of summer/heading into fall, (but not yet cold), outfit looks that you can wear now for those milder days and carry you into the cooler days ahead. If that sounds like something that you’re interested in, well this post is for you!
For those that know me, sneakers are my happy place and today’s looks are inspired my my latest sneakers finds. My love of casual sneaker styles run long and deep, with my first loves being New Balance sneakers. My obsession with collecting kicks started with a retro style many moons ago, and these pretty NB pink 237 pair give me all the nostalgic feels. They are the perfect pop of color to my otherwise neutral outfit I styled with some go-to wardrobe basics: a distressed denim jacket, my favorite tee and the absolute best booty boost leggings. This look is an easy go-to for some all day errand running, school drop off with the kiddos or a casual walk with a bestie!
If you dare to play around with some more color, these NB 515 V3’s are where it’s at. The colorway on this pair is a showstopper with bright pink and neon yellow accents. Paired best with a neutral look so they can be the star of the show, I styled them with a more streetwear inspired look with a black puffer jacket, NB hoodie and baggy cream joggers. This look gives all the native New Yorker street vibes and I’m here for it!
Both pairs would make a solid addition to your sneaker lineup this season without letting go of the lighthearted hues of summer. Which is your fave?
