You probably hear it time and time again, “where has the time gone?!” I will go ahead and chime right in because I seriously think this summer is just flying by. Before you know it the fall season will be upon us and this girl is not waiting until the temperature’s start to drop before picking up some fall threads.
With that being said, I was on the hunt to refresh some of my fall wardrobe basics. Think closet staples; those items that do all the heavy lifting with their easy reach, cozy to wear vibes. Amazon has been my go-to for basic tees and solid tops, knits and the occasional trendy piece. I picked up several of these v neck t-shirts. I especially love their slightly oversized and relaxed fit. Not too much, but just right; giving ample room in the sleeves to leave room for the pits, lol.
No fall wardrobe is complete without a staple cardigan, and this Madewell colorblock cardigan I picked up during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale has been a new favorite. They got the color combo just right this time around and it’s currently in stock in select sizes! I paired it with the OG of camis, a closet staple for me for sure: this Free People slinky tank. It has been a consistent go-to for like 5 years now and it’s my favorite to wear with a pretty bralette. The one I’m wearing is the Free People Adella bralette, and I love both so much I own each in several colors!
I also picked up this cream turtleneck sweater from the NSale last year and it was such a good buy that I snagged all three colors. So I was so happy to see it return for this year’s sale. I have it styled here with this cute spotted ruffle wrap skirt. If this print or color is not your fave, I found a super similar style wrap skirt on Amazon with plenty of color and print options.
