The holidays are coming to a close, and I prep for taking down my Christmas tree and all the decorations, I am also preparing for the coldest time of the season (at least for here on Long Island).
We’ve already had our first significant snow fall and freezing temps but I have also enjoyed some milder days where I got to enjoy some true sweater weather. I know those days will soon be over and it will be cold…just cold for the next couple of months.
So it is with that in mind that I’m sharing some warm cozy at home favorites as well as some winter worthy looks on today’s post. To start, all of my cozy lounge wear pieces worn in the look above hail from Express. I have on a pair of super soft basic high waisted joggers with this embellished faux fur sweater. For extra cozy vibes I through on this cableknit pom pom beanie and faux fur slippers. It’s a combo of gray and creamy neutrals, with plush textures and a little added festive sparkle make this perfect for a lazy Christmas morning.
Most days out I’m wearing all black so the next couple of looks feature my favorite jackets. First is this satin mini puffer I styled with a plush cloud scarf, both from Abercrombie. The second is a BlankNYC moto jacket that I love wearing with my Spanx faux leather leggings. Also topped it off with a neutral camel fringe scarf. Since I keep the base of my look neutral, and often times all black, I love sprinkling in some interest with patterned accessories or shoes. I splurged on this pair of leopard Golden Goose sneakers and a more budget friendly pair of slip on checkered Vans with that in mind.
Will be rotating in more of my winter weather pieces into my rotation in preparation for the next couple of months and hopefully some of these looks serve as some outfit inspo to get you through some colder days.
