Who else loves Halloween but is sick of spending over a hundred dollars on a costume each year only to never wear it again? I know I am! You can still have that winning look without breaking the bank. This little red riding hood was the perfect last minute costume idea and I spent under thirty dollars to make it with using pieces I already owned in my closet. Spicing up the perfect Halloween costume with makeup will take your costume to the next level. Go crazy this year by creating the perfect combination of little red riding hood and the big bad wolf with makeup. You can get this look with the products already in your makeup bag. Here is a list of tips and products on how transform your face from a lovable person to a furry werewolf.

Foundation
White face paint
Black face paint
White Dress
Red Cape
Brown booties
Eye shadow palette
False eyelashes
Eye liner
Mascara
Blush

Step One:

Start by applying foundation which is lighter than your natural skin tone all over your face. Apply it with a sponge or damp beauty blender. Push the product into the skin giving the maximum coverage. Do not sweep it but cover your face, neck and other exposed areas. You want to have an equal skin tone. Once you have applied foundation all over you want to determine which side of your face is prettier. Whichever side is prettier, you want to make the glam side and the other side the wolf. Apply white all over one side of your face.

Step Two:

Apply eyeshadow as you normally would to both sides of your face. Make sure to go heavy with the black eye liner.  Take your eyeliner and line your upper waterline. You need a very dark black eyeliner for this. To complete the eyes apply heavy coats of mascara on your lashes. If you want to have a much intensified look then you can also add false eyelashes to give it a very dramatic look.

Step Three:

Time for the brows. The eyebrows are one of the most important parts of transforming into a wolf. We have seen in movies that wolves have uneven and overly grown hair. To fake that look you need a black pencil or black eye liner. To create fake whiskers and facial hair use your eyeliner. Extend your brows more than normal and make them bigger than usual.

Step Four:

For the face again use your eyeliner or black face paint to make whiskers around mouth and on the sides of your face. Draw some thin lines under your nose and cheeks too to make them look more real. Add some black face paint or eyeliner on the tip of your nose creating a thick round circle.

Step Five:

Use black face paint, lipstick or eyeliner and fill in your lips. Take a red lipstick and add a small amount to the center of the lips to create a shadow. You can always add some false teeth to this look.

Now that you have completed this look, you can howl at the moon and bark at the sky. It’s time to get wolfy!
