Loving My Walmart+ Membership

If you’ve been following me for a while you probably know that I moved into a new apartment this month! I was so excited to move that I began packing and didn’t really make note of what items were in what boxes. On my first morning in my new apartment I needed my daily caffeine fix and realized I had no idea where my coffee pods were. That’s where my Walmart+ membership came in handy with free delivery from my new local store and free shipping from Walmart.com!

In case you’re unfamiliar with Walmart+, let me break it down a bit for you. Walmart+ is a membership from Walmart that has a ton of benefits. The benefits that I use the most are the Free Delivery from my store (with a $35 minimum and restrictions apply) and the Walmart+ free shipping from Walmart.com with no order minimum (excluding freight and Marketplace items). What’s the difference? The free delivery from the store is a benefit that I use to order things like my groceries or over the counter medications and the free shipping from Walmart.com is what I use to order things for around my house like decor or household essentials.

When I decided to move to my new apartment – I knew that I wanted to start with a fresh slate and I sold a lot of my furniture from my last apartment. I am so grateful for my Walmart+ membership because of the free shipping I get from Walmart.com. I was able to order some of the furnishings and decor for my new balcony like this outdoor 3-piece patio set, this rattan lantern and these faux succulents. I also really stretched myself thin between work and the move, so when I felt I was coming down with a headache – I utilized my Walmart+ Membership to order some Advil!

If you really know me you also know I love a good deal on fashion and Walmart.com has some of the best deals on some of the cutest outfits. My entire outfit from my jeans, cardigan and tank top were all ordered from Walmart.com. I love that with my Walmart+ membership there’s no order minimum for shipping so I don’t have to wait to fill my cart to place the order – I can just order things as I find them!

The free delivery and shipping aren’t the only benefits of a Walmart+ membership! If you’re comfortable going into stores nowadays you can take advantage of Mobile Scan & Go which lets you shop in the store and check out on your phone. You just scan, pay and can be on your way! With a Walmart+ membership you can also get member prices on fuel. You can save 5 cents per gallon at Walmart, Sam’s Club and Murphy fuel stations. Every little bit adds up – especially when you’re filling up.
