The struggle to get out of cozy pajamas and get dressed daily continues, but I’m quickly learning getting ready for the day does not have to be uncomfortable!

These past few weeks at home, I have been living in all my cozy things in the form of chunky sweaters, sherpas and cardigans, but with the warmer weather officially hitting New York, I’m looking for lighter layers to keep in my cozy at home rotation. Next to cardigans and shoes, t-shirts are my biggest wardrobe offenders and today I’m sharing some awesome band tee finds from Walmart that are comfy as much as they are on trend!

Seriously band tees are the unsung heroes of casual attire. Couldn’t be happier the trend is making a hard come back. They literally make my outfit cooler regardless of what I wear them with. Take this Nirvana tee for example. Paired it with a jacket and denim cutoffs and the graphic speaks for itself!

But really, band tees are so versatile. I’ve worn them with flowy ruffle minis, long maxi skirts, under cardigans, or oversized and front knotted with cutoffs just to name a few. But the way I wear them most is with denim, most often skinny jeans. While shopping these graphic tees, I discovered Walmart’s line of Sofia jeans. I picked up two pairs recently and I’m super impressed my the fit and comfort of them. Two of the styles are featured in my flat lay, the Rosa curvy ankle style and Sofia mid rise skinnies. Both styles are have very forgiving stretch…perfect for wearing at home while having all the quarantine snacks!

Of all the band tees I picked up, my favorite is this Ramones tee. Love the eagle graphic print on this one…gives me those all-American vibes and although I don’t foresee me attending any social events in the near future, (because the new normal includes social distancing of course), I fully intend on wearing this one while I get my own July 4th barbeque on at home from the comfort of my little balcony!

  2. These are so great! Band tees are super versatile. They always make a statement, that is one thing I love about them. Plus, those groups are right up my alley! I love the Bowie shirt with the shorts especially.

  3. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect Queen top. I try not to get band tees whose music I don’t really know. It makes me feel silly sometimes haha! I love your choices here.

  4. I am SO into graphic tees but not so much into band tees. I had never been a fan of any band growing up – can you believe that? I think I had not been a fan of anyone – I liked everyone equally 😀
