With the new year came some re-evaluating my fitness and wellness routines. Just another good reason to snag some new workout gear!
Real talk for a moment… I was not very active at all. It had been a very long time since I went to them gym and it was starting to show. All vanity aside, I just really wanted to get back in the swing of getting active again. I experience a noticeable difference in my overall mood and it was time to get back into that rhythm.
Nothing like the start of a new year for a fresh start. Just so happens a new MMA spot opened up just around the corner from me and I joined their kickboxing class. Already had a few sessions and I’m loving it so far. (Truth be told my mind and body are still getting aquainted with the changes).
Having said that, I needed some new gear and I thought I’d try my luck at Walmart for some budget friendly options. I was pleasantly surprised with their selection, and scooped up a few things. The first being this blush pink duffle bag. It’s formally listed as a weekender travel bag but I love it for the gym and I always have the option of a pretty pink carry on when I travel! You’ll also find all the necessary interior pockets for all your needs and an adjustable shoulder strap that allows you to carry your bag multiple ways. Win, win!
While there I also picked up a few pairs of leggings. I’m seen here wearing this mesh cutout pair. Picked them up for style but the high waisted and breathable fabric had me sold. Sweatshirts are my top of choice because I like to be able to throw them on when I’m on my way out the door and keep on as necessary (I hate being cold). The fleece lining of this black basic sweatshirt was just what I was looking for. My favorite Adidas sneakers and Yankee cap complete my gym uniform!
Now ready to get my fitness on!

This is a super cute workout outfit, and I love the duffle bag. I may also need to grab these sneakers because they’re so fun. I know it’s hard to be active, and truthfully I go all in or I don’t do anything so it’s a struggle constantly. Because I made A LOT for CrossFit, I am going because I’m not letting that kind of $ go down the drain, but it keeps me going and motivated so I found that worked for me!
I’ve been on the lookout for some affordable activewear. My leggings are quite old and definitely not as squat-proof anymore. I need to get some new pairs, along with some tops that move with me, since I don’t prefer working out in JUST sports bras. Love these pieces.
