Who has sunshine and beachy shores on their mind?!

So I mentioned in a previous post I shared recently how I never thought I would be traveling during a pandemic, but I could no longer quell the cabin fever that was putting a serious strain on my mood and overall well being. A quick getaway to sunny Disney World is just what the doctor ordered, and although way too short, I managed to soak up some sun and relaxation and it was glorious.

Maybe it had more to do with being at the happiest place on earth (even with all the safety measures, mask mandates and social distancing orders in place), but some time away and the mental break was food for the soul. I shared some tidbits of my trip on IG, but on today’s post I am sharing some new summer sandal finds that I packed and got to wear while away.

These neutral studded Steve Madden Skyler Tan sandals give me all the Valentino vibes and were a clear favorite. I got complements every time I wore them! The pyramid stud detail catches the light so beautifully that there was a definitive sparkle in my step and made them that much more fun to wear.

I got the most use out of these white cross band slide sandals just because the color and minimalist style went with everything. They were my go-to for pool days like I wore here with my pineapple print swimsuit, (a total Tory Burch swimsuit look for less by the way), and flowy embroidered kimono. These striped knotted slides were another casual option, offering a perfect combo when I paired them with a gauzy button shirt and cutoff denim shorts. Both budget friendly Walmart finds!

Lastly, my dressier/night-time option were these extra glamorous  Chrishelle sandals from Steve Madden. They feature gold hardware adornments elevating an otherwise simple style for a more opulent look. The jumbo sized accents might be too much for some, but I love the pop a edgy vibe they lend to a look.

Although I don’t have any other travel plans for this year at the moment, I’m hoping to get some more wear out of these sometime soon. Will you be traveling this year or enjoying a local staycation instead?

  1. All such cute sandals for the spring and summer. I’m going to go ahead and say that my footwear for the next several months will stay the same: slippers and sneakers since I barely leave the house haha! But maybe by next year I’ll want to purchase some new items for my seasonal wardrobe.
